Cameron Knells career goals

Cameron is right on track with achieving his goals for a career in racing. Cameron started in Quarter midgets at 5 years old and has won races in every class he has competed in. Those classes include, Jr. Novis, Jr. Honda, Sr. Honda, Heavy Honda, Light 160, Heavy 160, Jr. Stock, Sr. Stock, Light B and Heavy B.

At the age of 10 Cameron moved up to a modified midget in the Restricted class, in his first season he had 10 heat and feature wins, one win was a runaway heat win at the Tulsa shootout, winning by a full straight. Cameron planned to run the resricted class until he turned twelve and then switch to Non wing 600's to prepare for Midgets in the future. His original goal was to start in quarter midgets, move up to Micro Sprints, from there move to midgets or focus midgets, and hopefully get a sponsor to take me in the direction needed to move towards Nascar. Camron has been approached by a scout for two racing teams that are looking towards the future, Cameron plans to do everything he can to fit into their plan for the future.

Camerons Quote ; "They have set the path for me, and I will follow it and see where it leads me. This could be the dream come true for me and all of Knell Racing. My true goal is to be consistantly up front by racing clean and with respect in every race I compete in"

Goal 3  Age 11, Finish in the top three in points / Switch to non wing and finsh well in at least one race) (Completed) (Finished second in points in restricted class) (switched to Non Wing and won my first A-Main, in my first a-main attempt)

Start looking for sponsors to move to Focus midgets, ECO-Tec Midgets, Powri Midgets, or USAC Midgets. (2010-2012)        January 20, 2010, Cameron signed to run a partial season in UMARA Sportsman Midgets, and a full season for 2011 in the UMARA Ford Focus series. Cameron has been granted special permission (due to his past racing record) to race in the umara midget division where normally he couldnt compete until he was fourteen years old.
